Elvis was in a Shelter in Ohio
for a YEAR , before I found out about him. He was blind with cataracts.
After he got here and went to see the Puppy Doctor , it was found he had a
very bad heart as well. He was started on medication (Enacard and Lasix ). I
also gave him Rexall brand Bilberry Eye Support for his eyes. After he
was here about 9 months both his cataracts fell over and were laying in the
bottom of his eyes. What caused that to happen is unknown, but he was able
to see shadows and light. This boy LOVED his raw bones to gnaw on , so he got as many
as he wanted to have. He passed away from his bad heart 06/04/2004, just 18
months after he arrived. I do believe that if I had heard about him
sooner and he got his required medication sooner , he may still be here
today.
