Grinding Day..  

 We grind all our own meat , veggies and fruit for the Muttloaf we make.

 

   

  

SAMPLE Recipes :  Variety is the spice of life and is also the key to proper nutrition.

Muttloaf: 
 
6 pounds ground meat , (such as combination of ground turkey, beef cheek , chicken necks.. etc)
3 pounds ground extra lean ground beef *optional*
1 pound heart meat or liver
1 pounds each of two different vegetables (your choice) dark green leafy vegetable, spinach, collard greens,
     mustard greens, kale, cabbage the darker the better. Fresh green beans, zucchinis
1 pound of (your choice) carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin
1 pound of (your choice) cranberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, papaya
¼ approx. of large container of oatmeal or small star or alphabet noodles instead of oatmeal for binder
½ small container ricotta cheese, cottage cheese or plain yogurt
Throw in a canned mackerel or salmon sometimes.
Grind up organ meat with the eggs in food processor or grinder. Grind up vegetable and fruit
Stir all your ingredients together
You can freeze before you cook it or after you cook it. 
Bake 350 degrees till done or serve it raw.

The most efficient way to get the leg quarters down the grinder chute is to cut the corner off the big ones with a pair of kitchen shears.
