Mabel was found as a stray, virtually skin over bones. She was taken to the shelter where someone recognized her because of her missing front teeth. She had previously lived with an elderly lady who died. She lost her front teeth in a car accident. How she got to be stray is unknown. Unless she got out when the EMT's came for her momma. She is just as sweet as sugar. A lady named Sandy pulled her from the shelter on her last day. Only to find out that she lived next door to an arrogant dog hating cop. She asked me to take her as she was one over the city limit on dogs.

Me at my best friend Margie's house and on the way home. I feel allot better already. I really like muttloaf , steamed chicken and scrambled eggs.. yummy

We made it home last night and slept good. Had a bath today cause I stank from having the poopies. I don't have them now that Margie took me off that canned food and gave me real groceries to eat.

I went to the puppy doctor and he said my heart is good , as are my kidneys , but my knees are bad and I have an umbilical hernia. I weigh 8.5 pounds , I am skin over bones right now , I need to gain at least 2 pounds if not 3.
I was a good girl and left him the poop sample he wanted. He called mom later and said I was LOADED with Whip worms and Hook worms. Mom already had meds , but was told to STARVE me for a few hours so my tummy was empty. I was traumatized by that as I have been so hungry, due to them worms getting all my food. So now I sit guarding my big plate of Muttloaf , I will eat it all by myself cause who knows when my mean momma will take it away again.

04/14/2007 --- no more worms and I am 10 Pounds.
12/23/2007 and I am still worried there will be no food
