Meet Martha
She is 12 years old. Her "owner" failed to tell the Vet what her name was, so
we called her every name we could think of until she responded to one.
Her "owner" asked a local Vet to find her a home as she was going in an assisted
living facility. And that she thought the dog was going blind in her one eye.
After I found out I called and said I would take her , the "owner" dropped her
off there on Friday.
The Vet immediately called me , as I had said it would be a week before I could
get her down there. And told me that her eye had to come out , it was huge , dry
and looked very painful to him. So I told him to do it , if he thought it was
needed and she was in pain. It would not be right to make her wait until she got
up here. On September 10th she had that nasty eye out. And is now doing just
fine.
