These babies failed to thrive, momma was bred in a puppymill and was not fed very well , nor was she cared for properly.

John was fine one minute and dead the next... dropped of a major heart attach or stroke. The right way to go.

Rikki was very ill from the moment he got here. He had a mass on his liver and it kept growing.

Poor baby smudge and his sister and brother all got sick with some virus. Smudge did not make it.

HoneyPot came from a puppymill near Trenton Missouri, she lived there for 6 years. She had a large hernia and was blind when she arrived. She passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Grammy came from a puppymill near Trenton Missouri, she lived there for 11 years. She was full of mammary cancer tumors. We had them removed but they have now come back and she now also has cancerous mouth tumor. Due to her being unable to withstand anesthesia , the only option was to relieve her pain.

Zoey had seziures that kept getting worse and worse. We found she had a brain tumor and had her put to rest as the meds did nothing for them.

Bridget had breathing problems , it got to where the medication did nothing for her relief and she could not breath.

VERY fat as you can see , not neutered and the hormones caused his anus to sag you can see that to if you look under his tail in the first picture on the before and after page. His teeth were NASTY GREEN, his toenails were soft and way over grown , all his blood levels were off. He had untreated Emphysema , caused by breathing in the bacteria from his nasty teeth.

He lived here just short a year , he had major strokes on Christmas eve night 2003 and more New years day and I was forced to put him down Jan 2, 2004 as he was unable to walk and was in pain and kept having more strokes. Fred Loved to go out and walk around my property as he never got to do that before in his life. He would walk and sniff until he was a huffing and a puffin bad and then come in for a rest and go again.

Elvis was in an Ohio shelter for a YEAR, that must have been scary for a sweet blind boy. He lived here with us for 18 months and was spoiled rotten. It was found that he also had a very bad heart. Lack of proper heart medication while in the shelter may have contributed to his death. He was 12 years old when he passed on.

Opie was found as a stray by a lady in Missouri and she was unable to keep him. She said she thought he had a prolapsed rectum so we got together an urgent transport and he was here in 8 hours. Opie was so FULL of Heartworms that the normal 10 minute test turned positive as soon as blood hit the tester. He was also full of every other kind of worm known to dogdom. And so skinny we had to wait 3 weeks to get weight on him so he would survive the treatment for Heartworms. He did not make it.

She came here very thin , with a perennial hernia and a few mammary tumors.

We were feeding her up and building her up and going to do her hernia repair on Thursday.

Well on Sunday she came down with a respiratory problem. I had been up for almost 2 days with her

steaming her with Vicks and cleaning her up after she hacked up a bunch of YUCK. She was on antibiotics.

I took her to the Vets at 8:00am on Tuesday , On the walk from the car to the office we had a new development ,

she was not wanting to put weight on the hind leg on the side the hernia is on.

Her lungs sounded bad , but she had quit coughing and was just having a hard time to breath.

Did blood work and was waiting on that to come back. And we do not think it will be good either.

She was drinking tons of water and even though she has eaten like there is no tomorrow she has not gained

weight.

I brought her home from the Vets after she received 2 injections and some liquid antibiotics.

I took her back at 11:00 as she could not get comfortable and was crying. Taffy was hospitalized.

her heart sounded good. We did not need this respiratory deal , I think she was coughing and a puking

so hard she did more harm to that hernia. We wanted her to gain a bit of strength before we did the surgery

and then she was hit with this. And just made everything worse.

Doc called me at 10:00 last night, she has passed on. He wants to do an autopsy in the AM and let me know.

Boy came to me at age 16 , 22 pounds underweight. He lived to be almost 21 years old.

Little Vicky ate like it was going out of style. If you dropped a raw noodle she darted for it like she was starving. I took her to the Vets to be groomed and to have them weigh her again. And I had suspected she had lost a pound. I scheduled a Vet appointment for the next morning for a complete physical and blood work. But that night she seized and died in my arms while I was on the phone with Doc. Kim got her back with CPR and I literal flew down the highway to meet Doc at his office. She seized again on the way and that was it she was gone.

Speck had Polycystic Kidney disease. Her one kidney was removed at age 9 months. And it was known at that time that she had cysts on her one remaining kidney. It did the same thing this one did and of course could not be removed.

Maci was brought to me on 06/25/2005. She was 16 years old, had 3 legs , was blind and deaf and had a bad heart. On 08/01/2005 she was laid to rest.
